Just thought I would let you know how Fin's first few days have gone. On Friday

I text my husband to say I was late because I had to pick Fin up from the nursery.

When he got home I had left him in a basket/crib on the sofa and was outside, he came in and whispered who's is that, is it someone from works and what time are they coming to fetch him?

When I said he was ours he nearly dropped through the floor, he knew I was having him but never thought he would be as life like as he was!

We took him to the caravan with us and everyone thought it was our grandchild or something and couldn't believe he was a doll.

She knew which present was him before she opened it so she wanted to save it till last...... its a good job she did because the other presents would have still been unopened now!!! Well...my husband called me at work to tell me the package had arrived around noontime. I am a school nurse and I had the longest afternoon of my life waiting to come home to open the package! I was moved to tears at the site of Baby Theo! And Daffodil took my breath away! I was so amazed at how lifelike they are, even more so than the pictures show. The babies were packaged very well; it was a pleasure to unwrap the blanket and see a beautiful baby sleeping inside! My children could not believe the realism. I will be bringing them to see my parents (the proud grandparents) this evening. I can't wait to see their reaction! As a mother of 4, I know it doesn't take long for children to grow and you forget how it was to have little ones to hold. This is a dream come true...having tiny babies to hold and cuddle forever. "Well, on wednesday morning i was waiting by the door from about 8 o'clock! The postman delivered bobby at 10:30. I ran to the door and bacically snatched the box from him and slammed the door whilst shouting "HES HERE HES HERE!!". Me, my sister, my dad and the decorator all sat around the box while i carefully opened it. i lifted off all the paper and wrapping and lifted out the bundle of blankets he was in. I couldnt believe the weight of him he felt real. I undid the blankets and there was this baby staring at me he looked So real! I honestly thought he would wake up! I couldn't believe it when I opened the box and saw her she is amazing, if I never knew better I would have said she was a real baby. I expected her to open her eyes any moment and I was totally thrilled with her. When I lifted her she felt like a real baby and when I carried her through to show my husband (who never bothers about these kind of things) he did a double take and agreed she looked amazingly real!!! Her wee face, her hands and wee legs are so life like you have to remind yourself she is a doll!!! I picked her up unconsciously started to rock her.
