CHANNEL 4 STAR BABY LYDIA

Baby Lydia who was used in the Channel 4 docummentary is now available for sale. Her Mummy has had to decide to let her go due to family financial reasons, I know it is breaking her heart but she has no other option but to sell her. She has asked me to sell Lydia for her as I can show her and tell you about her in the best way. If you would like anymore information in the meantime her template is in the 'my babies' section or you can drop me an email and I will reply as soon as possible.

TV documentary for South Korea

I would just like to share this lovely message I have received from the South Korean television company SBS. I was filming with them in my local town centre ( Hanley, S-O-T) last week, many of you came over to see the babies and the crew. Hi Jaime, It's Gina again! Just to say that we have really enjoyed filming with you last week, and all my crew were SHOCKED(in a nice way!!) to see all your 're-born'babies, and we can't wait for your mini documentary to come out soon. I was there to film you, NOT to wanting to have a 're-born' baby for myself one day- I would love to have one for me as well, perhaps a portrait one (of my 11 year-old son when he was 9 months old) , and I will need to ask my son's permission. Ha ha.. Anyway, once again, thank you so much for being a great part of our TV programme, and we were all surprised to see how talented you are. The dolls (babies) are SO REAL, and I just can't get them out of my head! When the TV programme has been shown I will get back to you. All the best to the very, very talented 'Re-Born' Doll artist! My Fake Baby explores the lives of women who spend hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of pounds on life-like baby dolls. Known as "reborns" some of the dolls have beating hearts, others have tiny veins and even milk spots. Loved like real babies, they're taken for walks, cuddled and even have their nappies changed. Doll designer Jaime - a mother of four - now fulfils the dreams of other women by engineering babies to their specifications in her front room.

Adoptive "mums" include women with grown-up children, grandmothers living away from their grandchildren and women who have left it too late to have their own babies. My Fake Baby delves into an extraordinary pursuit which, although bizarre to some, brings great rewards to the women involved'.
